Honda bikes are shit. i got swayed by the brand name. Honda bikes have no power, lesser mileage than other bikes in same segment, no road grip, no seating comfort. if only pulsar/apache were taller andlonger. i was forced to go for unicron causeof my height. faltu bike. real boring. n expensive.

Hunk is having a good looks, Bajaja is having good road pick, Apache I don;t like tha bike, its not having a sports feeling....
well hunk is a good try by the hero hoda group but the ratio of length of seat to the length of the bike doesn't seem to be proportionate.the seat seems too shorter.the moves and grooves from it's fuel tank to it's seat seems much like extreme.well let's see whethere it becomes really becomes a hunk for company or just a junk.

I feel hunk is gonna be one big disaster for hero honda, mainly because there is nothing new to look forward in this bike but, every bike segment in bajaj is much more innovative with new tech . I feel hero honda should do a lot more survey as well as invest more in R&D. & as we have all had enough of 150cc bikes &it is high time that we needed 250cc+ bikes.

as per my R&D the draw back of this bike is its tail lamp and the number plate beneath it. its just a bit outer than a normal bike which means has more exploit when ever there is a bit of sudden crash at the back... price is really competitive when compared to pulsar of its class....
Bajaj Pulsar burns the candle at both the ends. So there will be more light. Naturally. It will wear out the clutch and other parts double fast too. So what's the big deal. Overall quality is just below average.
If you intend to have a bike which looks good. Lasts long and has a super smooth feel, it has to be a Hero Honda product. The Hunk is just the icing on the cake.
The wise buyer will not be misled indefinately. Even the diehard Bajaj fan will agree that the Hunk has a tank to die for and surely will outdo Bajaj Pulsar at its own game.
Don't believe. Than just visit a Hero Honda showroom. The bike will do the rest of the talking.

pulsar has lost its charm already guys, each and every one has a pulsar. its time to try something different and Hunk is definately going to rock. Apache cannot be even compared to them.

well my bro has a bajaj discover...and i have a HH super splendour..and trust me..i have driven both of them..HH handles much better and gives a better mileage almost 65 on kolkata roads where as the discover struggles to get beyond 55..but yes...i do accept..HH bikes are boring..looks the same...can't make what's the diff btwn the new karizma and the old one...and may be it is time that they do some thing about this..cause bajaj is catching up fast..and they do have a much better marketing strategy than HH..

whoever says that bajaj is better than Hero honda has never owned a Bajaj... it's so stupid.. the gear box is so noisy, the pull is naggy after a while. Tell me one pulsar which is the same after a year.... On the contrary, Honda engines are always smoother, they may have compromised the Pull in Unicorn but a Pulsar can never come close to it's smoothness. Although Honda has its own drawbacks, like Poor service, if not for that, Honda is superior... but then Pulsar is completely indigenous, for that they deserve credit..

I had a CBZ when it was launched in initial phases.6 months down the line i was feeding it my blood in form of petrol.
But it did wonders to my gf's then as there was no competition.
But i got bored of it too soon as was too costly to maintain and damn it though well maintained it was always nagging.
I switched to pulsar 150 dtsi ...Its damn kool not My bike gives 50-60 depends and not costly to maintain either.
Been 2 years since I had it and covered more than 35000 kms.
Engine still runs like a jet and gearbox is fun.Though it is lil-only lil notchy but thts ok.
Kinda grip stability and power it gives i don't think anything like RTR gives.
I drove RTR for 20 days and man i felt like I was driving tht yester years Luna with over powered engine and disc brakes.
Then I drove Karizma and felt gud.It is a nice bike and I am really appreciative about it.Luks long and is very comfortable with seamless power delivery .But it just empties ur pocket while purchasing and keeps on seeping ur money inform of petrol.
I dont think it shud be compared to pulsar 150-180 as its of diff class.
Compare it to bajaj 80000 something bike go to pulsar 200-220.
So we come back to HUNK.It luks gud but i feel its picked up its digital meter from RTR body from as obvious ambition platform....styling a mix of RTR ambition, and tht Yamaha Gladiator kinda stuff.Too blotchy.
Its kinda fancy item for college guys something new to show off.
I dont feel it will deserve its place among Pulsar / Karizma die hard gangs.

Talking about Bajaj and Hero Honda...Well I believe the Bajaj Pulsar has got an engine which is much powerful compared to all other 150cc engines. Thats why they chose to put it in Avenger as well.
About Hunk...nothing can more justify the goodness of the bike unless a test ride is taken and the smoothness / toughness is judged....
hunk has got Looks...but the power of engine needs to be compared which actually gives the hearty power to the bike...

Hey guys HH was the 1st 2 enter the bikes market n obviously it has the upper hand.And thats the only plus they have to sell their bikes,it is ture that the engine quality is good but unture that bajaj pulsars engine is bad.Bajaj is self dependent n is carrying trial n error method 4 analysis thats y you can see many upgradations time by time by bajaj.The dts-i tech that they have is equal to n even better than the quality of hero honda because the kind of power it generates n the fuel efficiency it

See the pace with which Bajaj is catching up with HH just 8 years man and HH being there more than that. HH is frightened of its existence in the market. Am a guy who studies most of the bike in the 150 cc, Let me make one thing clear that, the old CBZ, New CBZ extream, Honda unicorn,the achiver and the new hunk, allshare the same chesis, the only difference in unicorn s that, they have changed the rear swing arm to in cooperate the mono shock, and any one can do that in cbz by making some simple adjustment and changing the rear swing arm, and regarding the engine, except the old cbz and achiver all these honda bike share the same engine,
but one thing i can assure that this engine s superb,there are some slight adjustments made in the engine og the cbz and hunk to make more power.And cbz and achiver have the same power.14.4ps. and u just have a look on achiver and hunk, hh had added some extra pieces of plastic on tank and they changed the mud guard and the meters. thats all, so what u got s old wine in new bottle,when it was named achiver, no body had any demand for tat bike, now when they have put a new strong name, everyone needs that bike.just see the heaad lamp of both achiver and hunk,both are the same.
Now lets come to the 100 cc segment.
As everyone know that cd delux s the first bike i guess which the hh lounched first in India.The same engine s in splendor and passion,(old wine in different new bottles)the amazing thing s that people still goes for these bike till now,I think the engine design will be older than me,the only change they have made s some minor changes in the exhaust system like adding of cateletic converters and lean burn system so as to meet the emission norms.The reason why people still goes behind this piece of shit is that, they are the bikes with the most reliable engine which s availabel in India, and the after sale support is great for hero honda, and they are providing spares cheaply when compare to honda,
Now lets come to 110cc scooter
The honda activa and the hh pleasure share the same engine,and ofcourse the dio too.
Now 125 ccc,
Thhe HH glamour and super splendor have the same engine and the chasis too. oly cosmetic change,
And Fortunately, i don know they didn go for the honda shine's 125 cc engine, pehaps the reason may be that the quantom core has clicked the market.
All these are the games played by the HH and The Honda.
Now lets come to TVS
I guess all knows TVS max 100, And the Samurai, hey have both have the same engine and the chasis, only they both wear different dress.

its the first $ stroke bike in india from yamaha. Its a 135 cc engine, don worry that the bike dont exist now, cause the same engine and chasis has been used in the alba, gladiator,and the bike like that, let me say that this engine s also a failure. but i don know y yamaha s still making bikes with the same age old engine,after knowin that the engine s a failure.
Now Comes the bajaj
Well i wont say that they are marketing the old wine, cause they don have much new empty bottles i guess, the only bottle they had s ct100. they filled the boxer's wine(engine)in that bottele he he he..
I believe that bajaj s introdusing more and more veriety of bikes into the market. with some LEDs crazy stuffs like that, they made an exta hole on top of of the old pulsar and inserted a spark plug and they succeded inthat, but the problem with Bajaj is that the lack of reliability, There engines doen last longer. One reason is this extra rod inserted on the top like sandwitch he he.They did that in smaller engines too, like in discover.
Bajaj bikes looks good and i Admire their efforts, But the Lack of engine refinement is a problem.
So finally whats happening? The Bajaj will run upto 40k kms and after that it becomes tired and starts spitting blood and smoke. And more over the Pulser still have the same problem as the old pulser had, when we give a quick throttle or we try to give some more load to the bike , the bikes makes a knocking sound from the crank, thats what i hate from a 150 or 180 cc bike.
So According to me the company which manufacture the best bikes are Hero Honda And Honda, Cause those bikes are reliable, and will last a lifetime, And for a Bike enthusiast like me and those who wants to push their Bikes to the limit for a life time, then my option will be HERO HONDA or HONDA.

i unfortunately own a cbz i know what a fuck all bike it is.it freekin vibrates the moment you cross 90k.i have to really push it to touch 110.pulsar 220cc on the other hand is a breeze at 125.hh are lazy man just pickup a old engine of the unicorn just add some stickers and they have a used condom in a new packet.bajaj really strives to get the best of both worlds .excellent power pick up and response with awesome looks.hh should have added clip ons ,wider tyres,etc.you buy a pulsar you do not need to spend money on modifying it .hh bikes are like flats which needs to be furnished. this hunk is actually spelt wrongly it should be you know what {junk}.
i hope i can get rid of my current jumk and get my self a smooth 220 cc pulsar.i guess by the time i get it bajaj may even come up witht a 550 cc bike.bajaj rocks man big time

hey.....how may of you have see he new HUNK and got a test drive of it.....
dont try to blame the bike just seeig its photos....Its just amazing if one look its near...its much better than its seen in the images....really great....jus go for the test drive today itself.....it is priced least among the other machines of its class...it cost only around 62.5k compare to the 65.5k and 64k of pulsar 150 ad apache RTR....
Even if as the tail is short and makes no much good feel,the bike is terrible....with good seating positions,handling and drive comfort....it has the same CBZ Xtreme engine with 14.2bhp...it has a digital speedometer.......a 12.5l tank with bulky feeling due to the stylish plactics skirting....there are 5 differet colour versions-black(metalic),black & silver,blue,red,grey.....blue looks gr8....it is a machine that will be going to suit all height rider,short and tall.....it will defiitely be going 2 rule.........
the pulsars are no more going to make up new mind with the same old flattering engine with a noisy gearbox...with all,the 150,180,200,220 having the same digital meter,tank,tail piece..........and after all all these bikes looks as different pieces cut from the same cake by different persons......pulsar 220 cant even be compared with the mighty karizma.....220 is just a flop when compared to its brother 150 and other HH,H bikes.....
go and test ride the HUNK today itself...its smooth and powerfull..unlike the noisy pulsar...........

Pulsar is a shit.Go for HUNK.

Who ever is saying PULSAR IS A ONE YR PERFORMER ,ONLY FOR 4-6 MONTHS.On what basis ru able 2 say this iam sure those r HH blind fans.If what ever they say is true pulsar-dts-i wd'nt be a smash hit and to that matter HH was the market leader since long time and pulsar was launched only six years back then if its performance was not good people wouldnt have bought it and it would be a flop at that time itself because bajaj was not at all eatsblished bike maker. It is only because of pulsar bajaj has gained market share in the bikes market.And since then it only has tried to give the best to its 125cc and 150 cc segment customers because obviously HH was and is the market leader in the 100 cc bikes. hey.....guys...u gotta check the bike urself first....the speedometer looks classy..u don't need a digital meter..the tail light could've been a lil better...but overall....looks pretty good.....hh guys say they din't put digital meter and led lights cause they din't want people to think that they r tryin to copy pulsar..
hi m planning to bye my first byk and confused with hunk, pulsar 180 and xcd dts si... so any experienced rider is there to help me out?
its all depends on what u need from a bike. if u are looking for a bike which is fuel efficient, then go for the xcd.. but remember that the bike has not yet proved. I don have much expectations from the new heart of the xcd, But the looks are good, and trendy too, with a lots of attractive stuffs in it.
If u are lookin for a bike which gives u better power and fuel efficiency then go for the Hunk, its stylish, it has got a good heart which is proven on the unicorn and the xtream,u don have to worry abt the engine and the chasis. they are well build and balanced well, and comfartable too. But don have a digi console and led lamps, i don think there s much in such things.Its plastic quality s good, but the paint looks rough especially the black metallic.
And abt the 180, its aging, yet power ful, but lacks refinement.more over , when ever u pumps the air in i mean accelarate u feels like the engine s struggling, and the sound of the chain while shifting the gear, oh god its such an irritating sound u know. If u have more money and ready to pay for petrol then go for a ZMA, its d best.
And if u are not ready to pay that, then the next better chhoice ll be the Hunk. It has got good milage and better power, its the class leading in power.
To all of hero honda lovers i want to inform that i am too a hero honda lover,because i own a hero honda cd 100 which is 19 years old and it is still running and giving a mileage of 75 kmpl, since the engine is still originally from zapan. But now the hero honda engine is now made in india,so it is now a waste. I recently own a tvs apache rtr 160 and it is the best bike in 150 cc segment. It comes with awesome styling and is the most powerful bike in its segment and is more powerful than hunk. It gives maximum and unbeliveable handling at a speed of 117 kmph! Trust me i rode at that speed. Since hero honda engines ar now made in india so ar now longer reliable so opted for apache and not fucking pulsar or hunk.

I took a friend of mine along wid me to the showroom & he's in love with the bike. Even though he own's a pulsar. I do love to own a pulsar but have been using my bro's pulsar, i thought maybe i should have something different.
The only problem wid hunk is the gear shift. It's hard, not smooth like pulsar,but falls perfectly on each shift.I guess 3 or 4 servicing will bring it to normal shifts.
Anyone confused to buy a bike??Go for pulsar or hunk. Not much of a difference.Finally i'm goin to be a proud owner of Hunk tomorrow!!!!!!!

I am using HH Hunk past one and half month. Bike performance is really superb. If ypu see the pickup hunk is like 200CC. Great Pickup and great control. Now a days the accidents happening in pulsar only. If you are putting a sudden brike Pulsar is skidding and the control is also missing. In hunk i never missed the control in past two months.
My comment is nice bike by HH. Compare to pulsar HUNK is too good.
I M GOIN 2 GET A BIKE ......150CC....PLESE RECOMD WHETHER IT IS APACHE OR HUNK OR DISCOVER..

Comparing the 3 bikes, Pulsar 220, HH Hunk.I think all 2gether HUNK is da better choice...
Evry bike has its pros n cons...
*Pulsar:
Pros- very good pickup,superb accelaration, good looks, smooth ride..
cons- engine loses its charm very soon, loses cntrol easily, low mileage-35kmpl
*HUNK:
Pros-Good engine, reliable, good pickup, good acceleration, smooth ride, good mileage-65kmpl
cons:doesn't give u a lotta speed, bad styling at da rear end,...
If ur into speed thrills n immense power, go in 4 pulsar...
nd if ur into smooth biking n reliability with economy, go in 4 da HUNK....
bajaj is a disaster actually...with in 6 months it will start performing very badly....hunk is a very good looking bike and they are much better than bajaj...engine and airbox of bajaj and tvs are rubbish....i like hunk....apache and pulser are only good looking than any other bikes...but as we know empty vessels makes more sounds.....if u dont belive me try the pulser and chk it out after 6 months..
Hi people this is Ronnie Fernandez, Well i have seen everybody commenting about HH..Im not here to praise any bikes just sharing my personal experience..HH Rules and rocks..HH rocks but the service by the dealers sucks..hope they provide better service..i av been using HH makes from almost 13 years..I wud say its an accident free bike..And now after the arrival of Hunk..im in love with it..Esp..The Red Demon Hunk..

i own both hh hunk n pulsar ...now i must say that pulsar has gota gud engine response over hunk .. but with yr racing blood pumpin in .. this doesnt lasts long ... pulsar has been a disaster for me after 8000kms(i.e the definately male thing becam a pussy after it n i didnt wanted to ride it nymore .. ths the reason wy i bought hunk .. though it doesnt have a digi speedo r self cancelling indicators but after 7000kms the engine still feels like new.
in short this is the reason wy hh rules ..still i must admit that hh lacks technology but it takes over bajaj wen reliability n life of the bike is concerned

I had a old cbz which was good on looks but rough n vibrative... IT SUCKED MY BLOOD LIKE A LEACH,NO MILEAGE NO PERFORMANCE ONLY LOOKS."IT WAS A LOOSE PUSSY EVER SINCE I BOUGHT IT"(2000-2002)
i sold it and own a pulsar 2004 dts-i.I have done 45000 kms no problem with the engine.Only the gear box is a little flicky other wise 50-55km/pl.Great pickup and still continuing.
I think you have to learn 2wheeler better and should also maintain it for the performance you need........

hai..intially the milaege was around 50.....but later it became 40-45.but in highways.u will get only.35km/litre....good for single ride only.....

i think going to HH is better dan goin to BJJ o TVS as their engns r like kerosine generators(inbuilt 3D sound system ha ha ha)u can hear a sound effects 4m gear box,chain guard,engine...my fren hav a pulsar 180,it has gud power but very noisy compare to HH (say v shudnt compare dis shit BJJ to HH)maintainenc is high in BJJ,body seems to be of low quality n d paint dey assholes use is shit...BJJ dont luk lik original bcoz they use stickers on engines to say its BJJ,unlik HH dey carv the cover of an engine(sayin HERO HONDA),i agree tat BJJ hav gud power,mileage dan HH,but wat is d use if d engine doesn last 4 long

HERO HONDA'S MOST DEMANDING BIKE IN 150 SEGMENT. IT HAS GOT GREAT LOOKS THAN ANY OTHER INDIAN 150cc BIKES ,EVEV MORE THAN CBZ.IT HAS ALSO GOT POWERFUL ENGINE WITH HIGH PICKUP AND ATTAINS TOP SPEED OF 125KMPH.IT WILL RULE.
i have been riding 4 a year and what i have seen abt it is that it's performancer gets better with time . initially it was giving mileage of abt 40kmpl bt gradually it has rose to 55kmpl while riding at an avg speed of 60kmph. a friend of mine who rides it a lot has even got 65kmpl. on pickup part it doesn't lets you down provided you know well how to draw its power. gives 0-60 in 5sec. and i have run it upto 115kmphon normal fuel supply and can still go further . it can beat all apaches and fz if drawn right power during acceleration. also pure black and pure rewd are astonishing colours. i don't like that mixed shade. better to go for red though i myself have black.
i would suggest all 2 go 4 it.

guyz with pretty enough experience on hunk, i am giving details of this bike :-
mileage - 57kmpl on regular run
38kmpl on power run at >8000rpm
top speed - at regular fuel intakes , i was able to get >117kmph,truelly, though hh claims to be just 108kmph
headlight - intense and great but not rightly set, u'll need to get its position set to right place
special tip- combine the lower beam + pass light button to get extra brightness{i am going to get them combined in high beam mode on next service manually}
suspension - really mind blowing
tyres & grip - pretty good
problems- what i discovered when i had 2 operate in rain than there is a problem with electrical system that tends to shut down the engine and i have not yet got it fixed.
riding comfort - one can never get tired on this bike. however doing triplets is not possible or is very difficult.
sexual appeal- this bike's seat is uniquely designed to get you remain charged when you are with your girlfriend , she couldn't resist in any way from being in close touch to you.that one of the reason i liked it..
pickup - superb, it won't let you down in any way. speeding up till 90kmph is very smooth, after that the decrease in pickup starts happening.
ideal speeds - 60 to 80 kmph

hunk is better in both aspects than pulsar150 new - hunk is best indeed for long rides, today i drove it for almost 150 km. and i'm still not tired at all - pulsar can't give you comfortable ride at all -- this is truth. mileage 50kmpl after 1000 km run- i don't know abt pulsar's mileage bt if pulsar is also using carburettor then it will be surely less than hunk.....
dude why don't you pink yamaha fazer - that's also good though falls back tremendously in mileage.
well among hunk n pulsar , hunk is much better.

Indeed I rode my brother's HUNK-er from chennai to hosur and back. Indeed the ride was just like a cruise rider. I felt very much energetic with my ride and it was a pleasure even more than a car drive.
